HR Generalist
Job Description
B&K Enterprises is currently seeking experienced HR Generalist or an enthusiastic entry-level HR Manager to join our team. This role offers an opportunity to establish and grow the Human Resources department.
- Qualifications: Associate’s degree in HR plus 1-2 years’ experience, background in construction is a plus

Candidate Requirements
Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
Support HR initiatives related to performance management and employee development
Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
Hande all unemployment paperwork, hearings, etc., monitor and analyze UC costs to the company
Responsible for all EEOC audits in their entirety
Collaborate with various departments to facilitate a positive work environment
Conduct training sessions on various HR topics, including diversity, equity, and inclusion, to foster a positive and inclusive workplace
Manage and update HR policies and procedures in accordance with legal requirements and industry best practices
Administer employee benefits programs and act as a point of contact for benefit-related inquiries
Facilitate performance evaluation processes and provide guidance to managers and employees on performance reviews
Responsible for recruitment efforts, including job postings, resume screening, and interviews
Coordinate onboarding and orientation processes for new employees
Analyze HR metrics and prepare reports to support decision-making and identify areas for improvement
– Lead or assist in HR projects such as organizational development initiatives, culture enhancement programs, or employee engagement activities
Stay updated on HR trends and legislation changes to ensure compliance and recommend adjustments to policies and practices as needed
Handle exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement in employee retention and satisfaction
Skills
- Strong computer skills and experienced with Microsoft Office and HR software
