Over the last 30 years, B&K Enterprises has proven itself as a leading heavy highway construction company in the nation, the subcontractor of choice for temporary and permanent traffic control devices (barriers, signs, and sign structures), as well as concrete bridge beams and bridge box culverts. Our growth over the decades has been fueled by reliability, innovation, and meaningful partnerships with numerous general contractors across the Mid-Atlantic, who recognize B&K Enterprises as experts in road safety infrastructure.
Our partners know that that B&K Enterprises can be relied upon for projects to be done quickly, safely, and cost-effectively, regardless of project size. We have strategically located more than a million linear feet of owned temporary concrete and steel barrier to respond and mobilize at a moment’s notice. When it comes to highway safety, B&K Enterprises leads the way.

Mission: Our mission is to save lives by developing critical infrastructure to protect both road users and those in work zones. This includes supplying the construction industry across the United States with the most up-to-date road safety products and the expertise needed to install it safely.
Vision: Our vision is to be an industry leader and the dominant installer of construction barriers and crash attenuators, among other road safety products.

History of B&K Enterprises
B&K Enterprises was launched in 1987 as a woman-owned flagging company and was recognized by PennDOT as a Certified WBE (Women’s Business Enterprise). The firm quickly experienced success and, in the mid-1990s, began performing various types of drainage, pipe, and culvert installations as a prequalified subcontractor.
Today, we continue to innovate in the ever-changing heavy highway construction sector. This is evidenced by our development of a new retrofit system that supplements our existing fleet of J-J Hooks concrete barriers. This new system keeps up with the increasing deflective regulatory requirements while also providing the safest possible work zones. It was successfully used on a project for the first time in September 2017.
